Every person alive today is the living end-point of an unbroken chain of human beings stretching back to the earliest moments of human life. Each one of those beings, parent, grandparent, great-grandparent and on through countless generations carried knowledge, courage and an instinct to survive and care for those who came after them.
Ancestral Protection Energy Functions
Energetic Shielding –The ancestors create a field of protective energy around the person they are guarding. This field can deflect, absorb, or neutralize harmful energies, whether those are thought-forms, psychic intrusions, or the residual imprints of difficult environments.
Spiritual Companionship –Protection is not only about blocking harm. The presence of loving ancestral beings means the practitioner is never spiritually alone. This companionship itself discourages interference from negative entities, as the practitioner’s energetic signature broadcasts “accompanied” rather than “vulnerable or alone.”
Guidance and Warning –Protective ancestors often work through intuition, dreams, sudden knowing, or a felt sense of unease when danger is near. They do not always intervene directly, often they alert the practitioner so that they can take appropriate action.
Spiritual Authority – The accumulated, positive, spiritual authority of the lineage lends weight and power to protective intentions. When a practitioner calls on their ancestors, they are not calling on a single being but on the collective standing of an entire lineage.
Our ancestors remain active presences in the web of life, capable of extending their wisdom, love and power to those who walk after them.
