Morgaine was the daughter of Arthur’s mother Igraine and her husband, Gorlois, duke of Cornwall; so Arthur, the son of Uther Pendragon and Igraine was her half-brother. Sometimes Morgaine is put on a level with Morrigan, a figure from the celtic myths.”
