Totem Reiki is based on the premise that we all have a spiritual connection with a special animal “totem” who serves as a spirit guide and helper during our lifetimes. The totem animal is connected to your spirit.
Reiki systems and empowerments exist that utilize the specific energies of an animal such as Bear medicine, Tiger Reiki, wolf empowerment reiki and many more. Totem Reiki differs from these because the purpose of this attunement is to connect you with your personal animal totem (if you haven’t already) and then ask the animal totem to assist you in your healing sessions.
Additionally, the attunement is designed to strengthen and enhance your relationship with your own animal totem.
