Metta is a concept more than simply a word. It is derived from the ancient Pali language and loosely translates into words as unconditional love or loving kindness.
When we allow Metta into our hearts it infiltrates our every interaction, both with ourselves and all other beings. Metta is pure love, it has no bounds, no restrictions, no judgements, no conditions. Metta is the embodiment of love, a love that has no ulterior motive, it has no opposite force, it is all encompassing love.
When we express Metta it is to ALL, to ourselves, to loved ones, to our enemies, to those we don’t know well, to those we’ve not met, to all sentient beings in any form. When we experience Metta we are incapable of expressing any negativity to ourselves or others, we are in a state of pure unconditional love, our natural state of being.
Metta Reiki has been channelled to help connect you with Metta, to bring this experience into your energy fields, into your heart centre and allow it to flow through your being, through your interactions and enable you to be Metta.
Metta Reiki is a beautiful energy that is totally non-personal, it has no conditions, no attachments, it has no self-interest, it is simply love.
The energy can be used for self-healing and healing others.
